What types of medications does Taro manufacture?
Taro manufactures a wide range of prescription pharmaceuticals and over-the-counter (non-prescription) medications. We are an industry leader in topical medications – creams, ointments, and gels used mainly for various types of eczema (dermatitis), psoriasis, first-aid treatment, etc. We are also a major provider of tablets and capsules, such as Warfarin Sodium Tablets, an anti-coagulant used in certain cardiovascular (heart-related) diseases.
Taro offers different products in different countries. Please visit the Product Guide to learn more about the Taro medications available in your country.
Where can I purchase Taro products? Can I get free samples?
Unfortunately, Taro cannot provide medications directly to consumers. Please visit your local pharmacy for our over-the-counter products, or speak to your physician about using one of our prescription medications, especially for conditions in dermatology, cardiology, or neurology.
I have a medical question about a Taro product. Where can I get information?
Your healthcare professional is your best source of information about your personal medical condition, so speak to your doctor, pharmacist, or other provider. For further information from Taro, please complete and e-mail us a Contact Us Form.
Where do I send feedback about a Taro product?
Canadian consumers who have a problem with a Taro product should bring it back to the store where it was purchased. Please include a written explanation of the difficulty you experienced so it can be included with the product when the retailer returns it to Taro.
Consumers who are having difficulty returning a product to the original point of purchase are welcome to fill out our Contact Us Form. Please tell us where you bought the product in question, the lot number and expiration date (located on the tube crimp or outside end of the box), and your comments.
